Shameless Name Dropping

P-chan is coming over to visit tonight. I really hope he doesn't expect me to feed him this time because I'm broke broke broke until next Wednesday. It'll be fun, though. He's discovered 'Kagero.' The freezing bear traps in particular seem to hold a fascination for him.

My poor little car is having a bad week. It keeps loosing power. It's an old compact, but I used to be able to get it up to about 80 on the freeway, and now I have trouble just getting it up to 60. My dad thinks it's a clogged fuel valve going into the carborator. Hopefully it'll get fixed soon. It's to the point where I have to keep it on surface roads because going uphill it's hard to keep it above 45. The other day just as I was almost to the top of a hill, a police car got right behind me. It'd be soooooo embarassing to get pulled over for going under the minimum speed! ^^;

The workshop for CONduit is all set for Saturday at 2:00. Yes I'm nervous, but End of the World will be there in force to back me up. There's nothing like 20 guys in pink shirts to make a girl feel like part of something greater than herself. ^-^

I love Shaman King!

It's the coolest new manga series I've found in absolutely years. I guess it's kind of like a cross between 'The Sixth Sense' and 'Poke'mon,' but it's cool. (Okay, I didn't mean it that way. I did like 'The Sixth Sense.') It's the story of a young Shaman in training who comes to Tokyo to recruit powerful spirits as allies. He and these spirits of the dead can combine to give him the abilities they had while alive. His samurai spirit Amidamaru is such a cutie! ^-^

I found it at Aku Tenshi where they have a lot of other cool titles like DNAngel and RG Veda. Thank goodness for mangascans!
