HOLY -!
I can't BELIEVE what just happened to me! I have an account with a "reputable" online business that I pay money to every year, and they just asked me to confirm that my user information is still up to date. I followed the instructions which consist of going to their MAIN page, and putting my USER NAME into their search field and pressing the "go" button.
Upon which they listed ALL of my information. My name, my HOME address, my PERSONAL telephone number, EVERYTHING that I told them with the exception of my CREDIT CARD NUMBER! They didn't ask for my password or anything. Apparently this information is FREE and AVAILABLE to ANYONE who happens to be curious about who is using my particular username. I could NOT believe it. They will DEFINITELY be hearing from me. I've been using their service for two years. Apparently it's been like this the ENTIRE time. Oh, I swear heads will roll.
