A new page is up. Please try not to die of shock. ^_^

For those of you wondering if I've fallen off the face of the earth since getting married, an update can be found here.

Thanks to all of you who have been so patient. Michelle and I really appreciate it. ^_^

Coming eventually: Eidolon Games - an Utukki prequel short story in prose format.

I've started a LiveJournal. I update it a lot more than I do this blog, so if you want to see what I'm up to, check my LJ.. ^_^;;;

I have to tell you all about my very cool friend, Thom Bowers. We grew up together as best friends (he lived two doors down), and I think we managed to warp each other for life. ^_^ We went through a lot together, from the time we were 6 years old and played "Wonder Twins" in his basement, to riding around the neighborhood on our bikes fighting crime as Batman and Robin, to writing a movie script as our Gifted & Talented program English project in junior high, to making a one-act play out the first half of Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy in high school (he played Arthur Dent, I played Ford Prefect). ^_^ We lost touch after high school, but I managed to track him down about a year ago, and discovered that he has been putting his creative brilliance to good use. He is the lead singer and bass player for a band called Sons of Nothing. Not only are they the BEST Pink Floyd tribute band in probably the entire US of A, but their original music also kicks much ass.

Their new album, One Left Turn, is about to be released, and it has some great songs, including one of my favorites, "Better Than Life." (Props to anyone who gets the Red Dwarf reference.) ^_^ Their website has some great audio and video clips, so if anyone is interested in learning more about one of the major creative influences in my life, go to www.sonsofnothing.com.

(Michelle, be happy! My blog is finally almost as long as yours!) ;)

Like many of my crazy friends, I have decided to participate in this year's National Novel Writing Month. Because this is not enough insanity for me, I have also decided that I will post all of the first draft daily as it is written. If you would like to read it, (or, at the moment, read about my preperations FOR it) it's going to be on my new live journal page here.

If you read, please feel free to leave comments about the plot, characters, concepts, and general story. I really do love comments about my writing. Because of the fast-paced don't-look-back nature of NaNoWriMo, I would prefer that you nice folks did NOT leave comments about spelling or other mechanical errors. It's a first draft, and other than running spell check, I won't have time for any other editing.

So, then, why have I decided to post it live?

Mostly I thought it might be a good way for me to stay motivated. I'm more likely to finish if people are watching and cheering, or even griping that I've missed days. I know that sort of thing is discouraged here, but feel free to gripe all you want in my lj comments if I fall behind.

No, I haven't abandoned my blogger. I'll still be writing every month or so there about the things that go on in my life. I think that's it.
